Anyone here have the Tech II, used to reflash PCMs???
I need it done pretty bad...ADAC had to pick me up at the drag strip this weekend...my Hypertech PP III jacked my pcm.
I even did the fuse pull reset, and still nada...
It turned off my fuel system...not letting my fuel pump turn on, and also says my tank is dry, which it is not..I even tried putting a little gas in it and still no go...it cranks, but I think spark and fuel are not there
Someone even tried to hook up a OBDII scanner, and it wont communicate. My Hypertech states my programming was interrupted, then gives me a Code 6: to restart the programmer. Upon doing so, it just keeps telling me programming was interrupted, and it tried to continue, then Code 6...says to call them if it repeats...they are closed on weekends...and heck monday is a holiday
any help is appreciated.

Sorry to hear about that man. I bet ADAC was looking for a Black Firehawk at first. I won't metion any names. I am not very good with computers. Is there a dealership nearby that can reflash it. If not send me a pm and I will give you Bruce's number. There is a dealership near him that may be able to help out. They fixed my computer when I was home on R&R.

Slick you want the bad news or the good news first.
Bad news if data was interupted PCM is fried. Second is probably you will have to turn in your HT for reprogramming .
Good news - its fixable.

Alot of people on various forums say I might just need reflashing using HP Tuners or Tech II...
Roy, so your saying having a reflash at a dealer probably wont help because it fried?
It just seems that it shut off my fuel management. Hope its not too bad.

GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAT.
Tech II won't connect to my car. So I guess it can't reflash it - jeez how much is a new PCM? Or can I get one of those jet chip ones?

so, If I bought one from gmpartsdirect.com, I would still need it programmed at the dealer?
I just figure if I order one from the dealer, it will cost an arm and a leg.
Plus I need to tell them to stop troubleshooting. I know its my damn PCM, I dont need to pay them for what I already know@

ok...im still learning...
have instructions on removing it?
opel wants 290 Euros for a new PCM + 50 Euros in labor to replace it and flash it...plus 3 weeks to allow delivery from states.
I need to remove it to take to another shop to get the details....so I can get it in faster.
