Well, England is just becoming the dream land for IRA or other terrorists ...
They are testing out "e-plates", car licence plates with integrated RFID tags to allow identifying cars from up to 100 yards distanace.
Uses are endless - from just identifying cars, or checking for city access fee payments, up to measuring car speeds for speeding tickets ... of course, as (most likely) the system will be anything but safe, cars can be identified by anybody ... can you say "smart bomb"?
The real problem today aren't terrorists, but politicians that use terrorism as excuse to cut into everybody's rights ...
