just tell me its not going with an sts or other rear mounted turbo kit.

Short Answer - No not an STS.

Long Answer - It's going on a pickup

Longer Answer - GTO STS kits are freaking incredible. They're not supposed to work but they do. I don't know how, or why but they're throwing down 10 second passes in the US. How or why...I'm stumped.

I have heard good and bad things about the sts's but haven't really done any research
but now that you say it is for the pickup. I understand
you still need one for the goat though

Yup...we sure do.

Ordered this yesterday.

Yes well most of us know that ordering and INSTALLING are 2 totally different things. It would be funny to find that on the wifes new car.

The answer to STS is that if you stand on the accelerator and brake torque long enough it will build boost. Get a STS equipped vehicle on a AUTOX or road course where your off and on the throttle and it will do nothing .

I can't wait to see all the new upgrades that everybody will have for next year! Me, I'm not changing a thing except maybe putting a factory muffler back on the car. I can't afford all the high dollar toys that you all are bringing to the table

Val, you've already won KOTH twice, only thing you need to do is get some new rubber.

HUH!?!?! I can't hear you my ears are still ringing from the ride home  No, I will leave the GMMG on there. Lance is correct, I will have to pick up some new rubber for the next season. The new Nitto tire is looking really good right now.
