That's typical forum spammers ... they sign up, trying to add a signature and web address .... at one time, I think I deleted a batch of 3 dozens ... guess it's time for some more cleanup ...

Simply activate the "confirmation code" on the register page (where you have to type a code from a picture...) - that solved that problem nearly completely on the FBEP board...
(I had to do minor changes to the (pretty old) theme though, otherwise the code wouldn´t appear...)
