I have TKS DSL.
When I first got the service, I set up my linksys router to log in with my username and password and it would automatically connect for me.
It worked fine for a few months and now the router will not log in at all. I have tried unplugging, pluggin back in and unplugging the modem in all different sequences and stuff. It hasn't worked for over a month now.
I just created an internet connection on my computers that logs in but it stinks because I can only use one computer online at a time. Otherwise, it works fine
In the recent weeks, a friend of mine, who lives 20 minutes away (but has TKS) is having the same issue with his router not logging in.

Garry is not here to give long-distance-diagnosis, maybe you want to talk to your internet provider about it - or go and contact Joe Bunt at http://www.bunt.com (rita-net)

Are your computers set up for static IP addresses ? If not you are probably getting Dynamic IP config problems. I use TKS with 3 computers and a repeater . I just had tp sign a static Ip address to each one .

First obvious thing to do once you confirmed the data in the router is still correct is check whether you actually have the basic dsl connection - ifyour router has a modem built in, check its status. On external, just check the light on it. If everything on your side seems to be fine, call TCom (080003302000) and have them reset your line. They should also be able to tell you if there is a basic problem in your area. After this doesn't help, complain at your provider ...
