I am sitting in Cali right now in Death Valley right outside of NTC. Just got the procharger on and still datalogging to get the tune right. I am expecting 500 at the wheels out of this little 306 till I redo the 393 then I should have around 650 to the ground. I am starting to put the car back to more of a street duty for germany. Right now it looks like this....

it sits on skinnys up front and fattys in the back, no sway bar up front. So I dont think it would be too nice to drive on the Bahn right now.

Hey John...
Still sittin' here in SATX...in the 96 degree heat (already). Contemplating retirement this winter...24 years is enough besides I took a beating on the Senior board so no more stripes for me.
Got started on rebuilding the engine in the 78....again. I drained the oil and called it a day
Let me know if you get orders to SA...
Peace!

I am using the Ford PMS with interaq software. I might upgrade to the newest version it allows individual cylinder tuning.

I'm still here and the SS is still in hibernation. No mods this year since I can't run any faster. I'll still take on any stock Mustang though. I'll be at Bitburg unless something happens.

Hey Mike...I just left Germany (well about 15 months ago...) I'm not on my way back there. Japan? Don't I wish....I'm in Tex-ass where its hotter than the hubs of hell already (but nice enough to work on the cars!)
You wanted to see my car run? What a coincidence...so do I. Seems like nothing has gone right with that car. You weren't there when I left in 04, but I got the 383 rebuilt, broke in and 2 weeks later (and a day or 2 before it was shipped to the US), the oil pump pressure regulator plug fell out and I lost the engine again. Its in the process of having the engine pulled yet again.

I know how it feels I have been having the same problems with my 393. It was running like a bat out of hell and then I decided to spray it with methanol and it cracked a piston. Turns out you need at least 10 psi before you spray meth. Or it wont generate enough heat to work. SO all I ended up doing was putting methanol in to my cylinder . Kind of like puting liquid in a compressing engine cylinder. Any way it cracked the piston and blew out the head gasket. So I have to order a new JE piston and I am going with COMETIC gaskets. Then I should be up and running again. Oh and top of that I just installed a Procharger and it is leaking so I have to send it back to ATI to reseal. Once the ATI and new piston are done and installed I should be close 650 horses at the wheels.
