Talked to these guys on the phone and they are fitting me in so that I can have Jeff Creech adjust my tune. I asked them if they had experience putting cars on the dyno and they said yes, they have been around for a while and have had Porsche and Ferrari at their facility.

Anyone want to make the trip with me or meet me there? I want to get this dialed in before Bitburg.

;)

Is this the one in Stuttgart? Wish I could join you as I'd like to see the facility. Hope you pull down some nice numbers.

No this is up by Bamberg. I am looking to see around 365-70rwhp since these German dyno's are more like Mustang dyno's than anything, plus I need to adjust my tune.

I am doing this so that my tuner knows how my car is running.

A guy back in the states with my same modifications (but a manual) saw 390rwhp.

Do not go to this place, it sucks and I am now out 45 EURO.

If you want to go to a dyno go to Henni's in Stuttgart, he is very well known and has the ability to monitor A/F.

What happened? Hope they didn't do any damage to your car?

No damage, they just are not very good and have a really old dyno.

There's a dyno in Bitburg, and it is the first real dyno that I have ever seen, but if I had to judge, I would say that it is an alright one.

BTW... What were your figures?

What were your numbers? I bet they kept making the car downshift into second on the dyno. You have to gradually give it gas in third until you pass 4K and then floor it.

Yeah, kept down shifting, plus they said that it would be 10-15% off what you would expect from a windyn (i.e. new models). They didn't specifiy if it was +/- 10-15%.

I am just going to take my car back down to Stuttgart with Henni.

But the numbers were: 426 HP @ Crank and 405 ft/lb, plus what looks like 388rwhp.

That is pretty good numbers with that smaller cam you put in. A4 cars suck up too much power to be dyno queens.

I think the heads provided a lot of my power, they are great and will definantly allow me to break into the 410rwhp area with a bigger cam.

BTW I got a line lock finally, anyone want to help me install this? I will have to drain the brake fluid.

Any races the end of this month?

Where is this mysterious dyno located? I have been here for 7 years and never heard of one in this area. Would like to know where it is and see if we can get a group rate.

It's on the road that the German Burger King is on. The Bosch place. Just past the new turn circle.
I already talked to them. There would have to be a significant amount of people to get a group rate.
