Hey Garry be very Careful with tuning and Jeff Creech. I was living in NC and know of many cars he has screwed up. You can go to Horsepowerjunkies.com
And ask anyone on there about their experiences with him. I would just hate to see any of you guys get screwed and him not be there to fix his mistakes. So please check out the site it is NC car site and the guys there will give you the low down.

I googled and yahooed high and low , I couldn't find anything negative about the man. All were positive responses.

But there were some instances on on Horsepower junkies and LS1tech in December 2005. Don't know the circumstances , it was all one sided . Sounded like customer dissatisfaction.

Trust me Roy there was a lot more than a few. I was there at Bragg for a 3 years and I can assure you there was more than couple. I just wanted to warn you guys you can make your own decisions but wanted you all to know he screwed up some cars and they were good friends of mine. I have known alot of you guys going on 5 or 6 years and would hate to see any of you end up with a messed up car from a tuner who wont be around the corner to fix his mistake.

WOW! Like Roy said, the response to this guy is overwhelmingly positive.

Maybe you should email the guy with your suspicions before publicly calling him out?

:?:

Not saying you are completely fabricating things, I am just saying that I know of 10+ people on ls1gto.com who have used this guy and all have had nothing but positive things to say.

Horsepowerjunkies is basically owned by another shop in NC, and the focus of that board is to support the other shop. I warned one of my customers about a motor that was for sale (my customer wanted no nitrous sprayed on the motor, motor had been sprayed) I became public enemy #1, and the person that bought the motor, well, it blew up on them like 2 weeks after install. But that's kept very quiet.

My customers on that board are not allowed to say their work was done by me, their tuning was done by me, etc. Or risk being banned. I can get a a CW3 at Bragg to post up how he's been threatened by the admins for saying nice things about me on that board.

That same argument spilled onto LS1tech, the customer in question posted how happy he was when he got back from my shop, and then several days later, after talking to horsepowerjunkies people, changed his story. And BTW, his car is running steallar times, still on my tune.

I don't have a single unhappy customer that's contacted me and said "I'm not happy, make this right" not a single one. Those that have contacted me and were serious about finding an equitable solution are now happy. I have a lot of very happy military customers, as well as an exceeding number of happy customers period. I've tuned over 1000 cars, and if I said I was perfect, I'd be a liar. But I own up to the rare mistakes I make, and I make good on them.

I hope this board is prepared for what's about to happen, I've seen it before, 395stang will probably post this thread on horsepowerjunkies and 30+ people will register on this board just to bash me for a few days. Most of them won't be my customers but say I tuned their car at some point. (Really what's happened is that this other shop, who I used to tune for, has loaded up my tune into their car and it wasn't perfect, so it's my fault. I see all too often. Tunes are supposed to be custom, loading up someone elses tune is bad voodoo.)

I've found it's usually best not to get into pissing contests, I've said my peace, and I'll let my happy customers from all over the eastern seaboard of the United States, and throughout the US, and now with Robby "Fast GTO", Europe as well, speak for me. They won't register on this board just to praise me, unless I ask them to, just not their sophomorish style.

Robby said a couple of days ago it didn't look like we'd make critical mass to get enough people together to pay for airfare (not cheap BTW) and make it worthwhile for me to close up my shop in North Carolina. If we do, great, I'll look forward to seeing everyone and showing you all firsthand what can be done with the computer in these cars. If not, oh well, I'll spend another July with no vacation just working in the North Carolina heat. (Ok, I'd really rather travel and see Germany, I've never been.)

Take it easy everyone, I'm out of this thread.....
