Well, this event had to be the worst I have ever attended here in Germany. The weather was terrible on Saturday. The track finally dried enough on Saturday @ 1830 to make a few passes. Well, there was mud all over the track due to racers parking in the grass / mud and then dragging it all over the track. This event seems to be about making the most money no matter what happens. I got a total of 3 passes in all weekend and my best pass was not even timed. I guess they had a malfunction with the timer in my lane. I raced a friend in a very quick Camaro and he went 13.22. The track official / LLMF wrote down 13.38 on my time card and I beat my friend by 5 car lengths. They could have just told me the timer malfunctioned (I found this out later).
Bruce got a run in with his new 427 without nitrous. It pulled a 11.62 which is less than expected. But it was the craziest run I have ever seen. He left the line sideways with the front end in the air, shifted to 2nd sideways and pulled the front again, and then was chasing down a 10 second VW. He closed the gap quick but just ran out of track. That car has alot of power. It was leaving two nice and dark black marks down the track. I don't think it ever quit spinning. Hats off to Bruce for having the stones to stay in it. Unfortunately it broke the differential on the Ford 9" during the pass. This weekend will be Bruce's last before he goes away for a year. We are going to attempt to get it fixed this week so we can race this weekend.

Good luck with the Hawk, if you get it fixed it looks like Speed Days has a good track based on the pictures on their website.

Outch. Sorry i didn´t make it.
But at least it seems like they didn´t change anything, like expected,
and i didn´t miss much - except that wheels up drifting ;)
Hope you get that fixed in time.

I´m going to be at speeddays by any means.
