I went to Aafes today, and the guy said it was the fuel pump, so hopefully it will be ready Monday or Tuesday!!
It feels like I've been without her forever..........

I hear ya. That's the way I was when the car was down for a pinion seal (that wasn't even leaking very bad yet)
You'll have her back before long.

I kinda figured it was gonna be the pump...they are notorious for burning up when you run out of gas.
Did you try to get it replaced under warranty?

If not, I think it may be time for a little lynchmob justice to change their minds.

Even if you run out of gas, it still should be covered. It is something that I my opinion is a design flaw.
But I still wouldn't tell them you ran out of gas

Jack did you try to get the corsa put on under warranty as your exhaust has a 3 inch hole in the intermediate pipe? It might work...

Keep dreaming. Not with AAFES. We are a source of income to them. They are a base monopoly. They have a captured audience. If you need warantee service, there aren't alot of other places to go.

Gear heads do not always use minimum force neccesary for the task but usually get it done. Considering it is a gastank you nay not want to use my favorite tools, which happen to be hammer/torch then welder/grinder.LOL
