Nope actually german plates which shocked me. (short style) but still could have been an american because you can get german plates to.
One thing I noticed when he stepped on it the rear drops a lot from the torque.

They had the GT500 on a german car magazine the other day, DSF I think it was ... the guy liked it, though of course didn't like it when going around curves ;)

Well I have to give Ford credit for that car even if I am a true Chevy fan, but it really reminds me of the ole mustangs. Now the new italian design one looks like sh.t in my mind. What do you think Garry?

LOL - they had the 500 on Top Gear ... Stig drove it around the Track in the same time as the Monaro/GTO ...

Thanks, but I'd take the GTO ...

Oh, and they also put the Stig out in the Roush, which is 100HP less ... and he was 2 seconds FASTER!!!

It was a Ford GT not a Ford GT 500. No such animal. Ford had to drop the 500 due to copyrights. I have yet to see one. Fords (North America that is) are "He said POOP" but they take a pretty good beating.

Nope, side stickers still said GT 500 ... I know because they dynoed it and came up with ~450, which the Hamster (who has an old 396!) to put some nasty note with a black pen on it ... oh well, just the usual "US HP at the flywheel" vs "rear wheel HP" discrepancy ...

No seriously Garry it is not a GT500, GT500 is copyrighted and Ford is NOT allowed to use it. It is called a Ford GT. IF it had GT500 it was not from Ford and is liable for copyright infringment.

Opps sorry I was thinking of the GT 40, new GT. You are talking about a MUSTANG GT 500, big difference.

When I hear GT I think of the GT40/GT not a Mustang. Yes bloated pig is a good term for that.
