Finally made it to Nurburgring with Ben today. What a blast!!!! I could get into that. Only went off the course once. Guess it was beginners luck. Ben, thanks a lot for the help. Can't wait to go back.

Better watch out, them racing stripes only look good in silver and going up the center of the hood through to the trunk, not on the sides

Took a friend up there that also went off the course once. The Porsche came home on a flatbed and was a write-off.

Fortunately, where I went off, it was flat and there wes some rock paving on the shoulder. I didn't get to the grass so no damage. Got my attention though so I backed off a little. Still had a lot of fun. I definitely need to learn the track better before I play too much.

This might sound stupid but play gran turismo 4 on ps2 it has the ring on there and it is identical to the videos I have seen.

I sincerely hope you weren't trying to keep pace w/ Ben as that'll guarantee a meeting w/ a wall. I remember chasing him down one yr in his completely stk suspension and as fast as I was I couldn't do 1/2 the things he was doing. Just looking at the car scared me because to me it looked as if the back end was going to pitch at almost every turn. LOL!
Sounds like you had a blast. What day did you go Sat or Sun?

Forza Motorsports on X-box too, just don't think you can drive as fast in real life as you can in the game , but it does help you learn the turns. PGR2 also has Nring, but the game physics suck.

Glad you liked it, Jerry.
Jerry went slightly off at Adenauer Forst, actually in the 2 laps we did with my car first I forgot to tell him about the surprise-factor of this corner...
But apart from that it was all good and fun! (And not a single closing of the track that day)
Silas:
We went Sunday. I was also there yesterday.
EDIT:
Here's a picture:

Nice Pic. No, John, I didn't try to keep up with Ben. Need a lot more laps before I try that. I did thoroughly enjoy it though and will definitely go back. I'd get one of those games, but I'm not into gaming. That was after my time. I'm death on a pinball though. Maybe I can go over to one of the neighbor kids house and play on theirs. Now I need to find me a good ring car for not too much money, if that is possible. I'd get an Opel Speedster if I could take it back to the States. I'll keep looking though. I'd like to be able to really enjoy it without having to worry about wrecking the Camaro. I'll find something.
