If I had 98 000 Euro burning a hole in my pocket, I would certainly be able to find another 10 000 Euro and buy a GT3 that will cream that "Yank-tank".
Priced at 30 000 Euro it will be a nice ride.

No tellin', for comparisson, a C6 Z06 is something around 80k€ IIRC ... regular around 60k€ ...

The base price for the Z28 was about 58000 DM (however "base" already meant with leather seats and some other stuff).
With all options I think it was in the area of 65000 to 67000 DM.
EDIT: In Euros that's about 29000 and 34000.
