One of the civilians where I work at has a brand new z06 engine for sale, fully built for nitrous. He doesnt have all the specs yet, as the guy he bought his car from didnt provide it yet. If you give me contact info for you, if interested, I will pass it to him on Monday when I see him. I'll post more info as I get it. I know he wants $25K for the engine. Apparently you can get a stock zo6 engine for that cost? :?:

LS6 or LS7?

LS7s are in the $12K range from GM and now that the LS2 is out you can get an LS6 for $4K

For 25K it better be turn key w/ ECU billet splayed caps, billet rods etc. Looks like he'll have a spair engine for that price. LOL

You aren't going to Bitburg Hotrod? I'll see you sometime tomorrow to give you a hand. I just can't say exactly when but I should be there around noon.

Guess it all depends if it's a C5 Z06 or C6 Z06 ;)

thats way to much even for that engine, back in the day when they first came out you would pay that but not anymore. LS7 454 short block from scoggins is about 6 then throw on the L92 head and intake packeage for 1000 or SLP L92 for 2300 i believe and your talking 600-700 hp easy and your still under 10k And I would buy that way before I would buy that engine...L92 are going to be the new engine for swaps based on their price 427 forged short block manley and callies internals i believe for under 5K or Bare for 1299 i believe.
If you havent done so check out http://www.SDPC2000.com its hard to beat their prices on gm stuff, tell that guy to look to and adjust his price, even if it was turn key and installed i wouldnt take it for that price.

And BTW the engines I mentioned are not listed on their site, you have to contact them or look in GM high tech for the 3 short blocks they have listed and you will see them.i believe they are 454, 427, and 402, not sure on the 402 though
