Well ... let's just hope for the best, maybe we at least get moderate weather without too much rain ...
Anyway, who's going to be there for Saturday to set up the AutoX course? I'll probably be down (I guess the '79 car seats aren't quite as comfortable for sleeping, but oh well ...), but I understand there has to be somebody to bring the cones, which means room to transport them. Tony, can you come Saturday afternoon? I'm currently waiting for a reply from the Porsche guy, hopefully they will lend us a couple stacks of cones ... anyway, it would be nice to have another two people or so there to set up the course ... think about it - you'll have the advantage of having tried out the course more often than anybody else

I am on duty, but I will try to stop by for a little to help...

Hm ... with the current weather forecast, you may be better off using tires with treads ... the track might be not exactly dry ...

DOT would be Department of Transportation. Kinda Like TUV.... Basically it means the tires need to be street legal......... So full slicks would be a no-go...
E/T Streets
BFG Drag Radials
Nitto Drag Radials
are all ok, and anything similar

I talked to Tony about tires.
ET streets are DOT however you will be paired with others running that type tire.
Tires have to be in good condition but can be worn past the treadwear bars IE no tears rips can be worn but no bare cords visible threw the rubber. IE not Bald. any questions let me know.

Tell Tony to re think that. I was under the understanding that we are running grudge (Run what you brung) and Bracket racing. I do not see where having ET Streets would require you to be in a different class. Run it by him again, cause it just does not seem right.

ET streets tells me the tires are street legal. I figure that qualifies. Wonder what class those on my car would be.

It will end up that way because the grudge run is heads up and bracket is for consistancy? Which are the only drag race events I am aware of? Is that true Gary?

I haven't gotten any reply back from the Porsche guy yet ... how many cones did you say you could bring Bruce?
