Hello

got a set of full carbon bucket seats in the Porsche GT3 look for anyone that wants to get serious on the ring ;) They are brand new and would be for my new project but I'm going now the couch way.

The weight under 5kg a seat and the padding can be easily removed for cleaning and this stuff if anybody soiled their pants.

Price is 1300 Euro for the pair.

No they are full carbon replicas. Basicly exactly the same but without the porsche embroidery. They even weight the same. But a real porsche one runds around 2000 Euro for a single seat and I picked up those for 1300 the pair.

I've read on corvetteforum.de that someone mounted them in his Corvette... however with the needed brackets I guess it is higher than the original seat... Roy, don't you want to try this? :)

Roy's got the brakes already, the seats would be the next step towards the GT3-SS project ...

Nice but not in my budget. For a DD they would be great but I am saving for the Sparco with HANS for about the same price.

There are brackets for the Corvette that will put a seat on the floor if you want to. http://www.hardbarusa.com makes them and they work with any side mounted "race" seat.

For those of you that have never been in a real seat, I'll say that a proper seat and restraint system was some of the best money I spent and actully lets you concentrate on driving the car instead of holding on for dear life which leads to faster lap times.
