Slightly off-topic ... but good to know none the less ...

Just recently, the new 5.0 version of "True Crypt" was released. This tool allows for several different types of encryption, either by creating a container file that can be mounted as a drive, system encryption, or whole disk encryption. The latter two require a password to be entered, otherwise the drive contents just remains encrypted. You have the choice of several highly secure encryption schemes.

Check it out at truecrypt.org ...

Oh, if you have a Dell notebook, wait till the next minor update is released, there's still a slight problem with soundcards on the 5.0 version ...

The new 5.0a release came out yesterday which fixed a couple bugs, including the sound card problem ...
