Long time no hear from my end of the world. I have been deployed for the last 451 days. Just an update. I ended up buying Bruce's car, aka Da' Hawk in February of this year. I had to have it shipped 2400 miles from Cali to Georgia. It currently has a new motor in it and it is a monster. I took to the 1/4 mile track in Reynolds, GA last Saturday and it ran a 11.37@124 on motor. It also weighed 3730 pounds with me in it. I don't seem to be having a hard time rowing the gears. I haven't done this in over 10 years and now I realize how much I missed it. I have a NX direct port I may try out on it. I think with a little weight removed out of the car it should go high tens on motor. Then comes the spray. I still have my Camaro and it is sitting in my garage waiting for a new driveshaft for the Reverse Manual Valve Body and Trans-Braked TH350. It is definitely hard to work on two project cars now. Take care guys/gals and keep spankin' the Mustangs.

15 months deployed is no joke. I have alot of friends who have done this long of a deployment. My Soldiers really started acting up after we passed the 12 month mark. It was just too long.

Congrats on the purchase. At least it's still in the FBE family. SO how have you been? I'm not that far from I don't think. I'm down in Tyndall, Panama City FL. Once I get my POS running I'll have to make my way up there. Are you going to G13 this yr? I was supposed but instead I'm out here sucking sand yet again. Glad I retire later this yr or early 2010. Later.... SIlas,

Later.... SIlas, I have been good. I just got back from Disney World in Orlando yesterday. I drove right past Panama City. I do not have any plans on attending G13 this year. I am more into drag racing than car shows. I have wanted to run at Commerce but their test and tunes are on Friday nights and it is just too far for me to make it in time. You should come up here and hit the track with me and some of my friends when you get back. We have a pretty good time. Take care, Don

G13, yeah it's show but where else are you going to be able to hang out w/ a mass of Fbodies?! Granted it's nothing like blasting down the autobahn w/ all our friends back in Germany (even though we weren't as deep as Mighty) headed to Bit. But 3-500 fbodies all in one gathering?! Are you crazy? I thought they hit the track there as well if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully I'll be in attendance next yr. So is the Hawk finally going to see 10's? I know he's been close in the past. If you are stll in touch w/ Bruce, tell him I said hello. Silas,
