I was looking at ramsteinyardsales.com (if your wife doesn't already know about it, don't let her!), and saw an 02 35th anniversary convertible SS for sale for $37500. That price seemed a bit steep to me, even being one of a limited number of cars made. I looked it up on KBB and the private party value for excellent condition was only $16500! Maybe I am missing something here, but isn't he asking just a tad much for the car? If I'm wrong, please educate me!

It looks like a nice car. I emailed him to let him know about this site cuz I cannot afford it. You do have to consider that it is even more rare over here. If you can find the right buyer......go for it!

Price comparison http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C74016/I don't think you'd pay more than €2000-3000 to have a car shipped over here from the States but for $37500 you could buy a fully restored '67 for that !

I have one and I wouldn't pay that. I love mine, but that is too much for it. Depends on how bad you want it.

When I was at that Corvette meet last month, one guy was saying there are lots of _brand new_, 0mi 2005/2006 Corvettes still for sale ... guess you could get a pretty good deal on one of them, if you're OK with it not being an LS3 ...

That guy's trying to make his money back. Even as a slightly limited model (they made quite a few), it's value will continue to decrease until it's a classic.

He's asking way too much for that car.
