They said my bald tires were good, my leaking diff was no problem, and my howling parking brake was good. My tie rod ends? FAIL!! They sounded like fire crackers on the tester. I'm glad they caught them before they got really bad, but there goes another 150 euros down the tube. Oh well. That's what happens with 90K+ miles.
And thanks again Billy for letting me borrow the tires, even though I didn't end up needing them. It's nice to see that this community can help each other out.

You never know what to expect from inspection.
150E is pricey for some tie rod ends. Does that include install and alignment?

150 includes the parts and labor, plus the allignment, so it's not too bad. I could've waited for the parts to come from the states, but I'm impatient. Mark Lebida in Binsfeld is getting the parts overnight, and should be fixed on Monday.

Well, I should be alright this time since that's all they can look at. It will be done Monday, so fingers crossed!

Like Brian said, good luck. They hit me up for a DB test this year... It pulled something around a 96 or so. I don't know if that's good/bad or what the reg says.

Am I right in thinking that if you get reinspected within 30 days of the first one, they can only look at what they failed you for and not anything else?

Correct, but if that part still does not pass and you go over the 30 days they will reinspect the whole vehicle. I know from experience.
