I would not mess with him... Like I said before the only chance would be a 5k dump on slicks and hope the rear and clutch held up........... Then spay the hell out of a 150shot.......

Hey guys. To answer some questions. Yeah there is more planned for her. Just want to break it in some more before adding other things. Plus for those who rode in the car George, Mike, Ryan and drove the car it still hasn't been dialed in. Still think G's car is hella fast & felt faster than mine so that's priority #1 when I get back.
The winter project is just getting her repainted and some other little small cosmetics I've been wanting to do for quite some time. If the wife leaves TDY in March the Toy will be sick as in ungodly fast when she returns and she won't even know it..........eh-eh not like I need a kitchen pass to begin w/ but sometimes it's fun to do things in secret.
Sorry bout you ordeal Ryan. Sounds like you guys have some serious plans for next season. Who all else is getting poked and stroked?

Some of us still owe $19K on our cars, so it will be a little while before I get stroked, but heads/cam is definitely planned for next season!!

Hey Silas, I'm on that list too. I'm thinking a setup like yours, but instead of new intak/heads, I will have Tony do some work on the stockers. What compression are you running? I'm leaning toward 11.5:1 and getting as much as I can off the engine. Tony is working his ass off trying to sell me on agostino racing but for now I'm dealing with Nu-Tek Motorsports.

Dave, based on my experience w/ ARE. I wouldn't do it again. I should've followed my instinct and went w/ BRE they sent me all kinds of stuff before inquiring about their service. And they still do. They definetly have customer service in mind and w/ that kinda money being spent you'd think they would too.
Not ARE esp if you are overseas. The gave me the finger in so many ways. I literally gave Nick a piece of my mind and he still hasn't responded and that was 2 months ago. BRE had cost more initially but after all the $$$ I spent I could've afforded it. I just liked ARE's rep for killer strokers but that don't mean a hill of beans if they don't aim to please.
Granted I got a nice discount but still. That shouldn't of been needed in the 1st place, ya dig?
Don't know anything about NU-Tek cuz they're still new. I'd stick to what's proven if it were me all over again.
Do MAD research because it ain't cheap and you'll be pissed in the end for not doing it right. Trust me on that one.
And above all else. This is the most important piece of advice. GET IT DYNO-TUNED & BROKE IN PRIOR TO IT BEING SHIPPED. THEY SAY THEY WON'T DO IT BUT A REAL COMPANY WILL AND WILL GUARANTEE IT. IT WILL COST YOU BUT IT WILL BE WELL WORTH IT!

Beside speed and looks, I would have to say the handling on John's car is what got me. Nothing cooler than taking turns at 90 without flying out the window. One day soon enough I can only hope mine will be in the same realm as his...That is one bad @ss car. All of you have bad @ss cars! I kind of wish I was back there sometimes. Never got to race anyone but Johny with the mods. Oh well, I am a celebrity over here in S.C. Not to many "hooked up" camaros. Later fools, Mike

He has more than equalized. Your not going to get a much better engine top end. That A.R.E. will spin every bit as high as any stage 12 "some..tek" head/cam package. Then there is that small item of flat as Kansas torque from idle up to redline.
Pretty close to the combo "Sled" used to get in the 9's minus the N20 I think.

I guess we will see next year. I think his car is the bomb and all I want to do is race him. That just sounds like fun.
