Roy,
Not a problem, it was the least I could do to help. THANK YOU for the hospitality it was awesome. Didn't make very good time going home but it was a nice drive. I'll PM you with that list of parts and prices for the other stuff we talked about (bolts, gaskets, etc.).

Ray couldnt have helped this one. The pinion support bearing is pressed into the case from the back side. The company that pressed in this bearing did not support the case and it microcracked as the bearing was seated. 27 years of doing engines, axles and trannies I know a thing or two about them.

Roy, Val, what diff did you guys go w/? Tru-Trac, spool, locker, posi? What's the difference between them all and what's the closet thing to a T2R diff. Looks like I'll be biting the bullet and getting me a 9" from Billingsley Racing this spring or fall.

I went with the locker.
The closest thing to the T2R is the T1 which was designed for AUDI Motorsports. This monster puts the T2R to shame. Its also 900-1100 dollars .

T1 @ 1100 bucks? Looks like I need to sell some more parts then. I can't settle for nothing less than the T2R equivalent or better. Thanks.
How is your rear coming along?
