Quote: Did you drill out the hole in the TB to smooth the idle out? They say it helps alot.
Yep Idrilled it first to 3/16's I believe the hole is originally 5/32'nd of an inch. It helpe a little bit. Now I have drilled it to 13/64'ths and now the car seems to work great . I can tur n the A/c off and on with out the engine dieng . Hot start up is drastically improved.
I am waiting to Find a used HYPER tech To bump my rev and speed limiter up .

Hey Roy,
I'm going to install my cam this weekend, wanna come over and help me too? LOL
I'm sure I'll need the help though
I went to Walmart and bought a bunch of "pen" magnets to hold my lifters just in case!!!
I'll fill you in on the details when she's running again.

There is a good cam install write up here...
Cam Install
go to the top left corner a open:
1. Torque Central Folder
2. Installs
3. GM MOds
4. F-Body
then you will see the goldmine...LS1 Cam Install
This is THE best cam install write up out there for the LS1s
Hope it helps,
Jamey

If you back the idle speed adjustment screw all the way out and put in in from the top, it is MUCH easier to adjust the idle speed by the way.

Hi Guys!
Cool place you have here.
Just wanted to drop by after someone told me about this place and saw us mentioned in this thread.
We do have a limited quantity special on the LS1 Hotcam Kit this month:
$313.42 and that includes the LS1 Hotcam Kit + our Kit of gaskets, etc.
Check it out:

I'll be dropping by here more often.
