I'll be doing a rocker arm job this winter and would like to see if I can go higher than a 1.6 ratio. I did the math and a 1.7 lift would give me .544 intake/.589 exhaust. I can go as high as .600 on the LT1 head.
So my question is, has anyone ever done this or know if this will work? I think that the 1.7 rockers might fit from the LS1 heads but i am not sure.
Thanks

Thanks John. That helps out alot. I will just buy the 1.6 and eliminate the worries.

Hey Badazz',
It all sounds good to me. I think you should put that $100 towards a custom program though. I got mine programmed for $150 and it was the BEST $$$ i have spent. You can have the rev limiter changed to whatever you want and then some. Just my 0.02.

Log onto the "LT1 Tech" message forum at http://www.camaroz28.com and do a search for "Sar2k"....... He has an LT1 with adjustable roller rockers. I'm not sure what ratio he is running though. If you can't find what you want, sign up and private message him, he is a very nice guy and has helped me out before......
John
