I bought the car from Car Special Michael Quitzow in Kerpen (Yep!!! This is where our famous Mikel Shumaker was born!)
The previous owner was shocked to hear that my average fuel consumption is between 18 and 21l/100km. He had never taken it beyond 220km/h! And no racing at all.
I was driving the Camaro for the whole last week. I haven't refueled yet, but consumption on normal roads (160km/h at the max)will be around 12l, ie acceptable. I think air drag at higher speeds has bigger influence on fuel consumption than expected!
Driving at night on the Autobahn is f***ing mad: Nobody expects a car with 220km/h in the dark. I had to break very hard a few times when some snails pulled out for overtaking!
Cheers!
Gunnar
