Hello, I'm a potential new member to F-body Europe. A bit out of the box-- I live in Abilene, TX; but I an a UPS pilot who spends at least 1-2 days a month at the Maritim Hotel in Cologne (Koln), Germany. I've seen a few F-bodies running around Ringstrasse and wondered if you guys would have a part-time F-body Europe member. I've built a '96 LT1-powered '76 Vegha Wagon and have a '02 Z-28 coming in next week. For you military folks, I'm also in the AF Reserve at HQ 10AF, NAS Ft Worth, TX (formerly Carswell AFB). I'd like to be a member if that's OK. It would be great to get my F-body fix when I'm at the UPS EASC(European Air Service Center)as well as in the good ol' USA!

Hi Dave and welcome.
Do you ever fly into UK? I am after some suspension parts to be shipped across into England. I will be ordering in the next 10 days.

The Z-28 will be an A-4. One of my wife's conditions for buying the car since she will also drive it. As to brining parts over, pre- 9/11 I wold have definitely said I could do it; but current security measures make it difficult to impossible to carry anything "unusual". You should have seen the hassle I had trying to bring front wheel spindles from Louisville to Dallas! International flights are even more sensitive, and believe it or not the airline crews get the most severe scrutiny because we have access to the cockpit and because Mohammed Atta reportedly impersonated an American Airlines pilot- stolen uniform and fake credentials- and jumpseated in an American cockpit to Boston. Anyway, if that changes, I'll be happy to help out.
Dave
