Besides all the upgrading I need to do before coming over, the last mod that I want to do is a set of Finish Line Performance Ceramic Longtube Headers w/ Y-Pipe and HighFlow Cats. This will most likely make the car illegal w/respect to emissions - will this be a problem coming to Germany? Also... if coming to Germany is fine, how about returning to the states? Will I have to get my car emissions checked on the way back in because it has been overseas?

Runninng FLP's myself no problem w/ inspections here as long as the cats are on. Bruce has the Dynatech's w/out cats and no problems. If ya know someone who knows someone you can pass insp w/out problems. Our biggest problem is noise.
Your car won't be emission tested going home either you just have to have the cats in place. You final destination though could be different but we know the states are easy if you got a 20 dollar bill and a six pack of bud.

Yes they do inspect prior. Mike had the exact problem prior to shipping his. So he had to go back and have one on so all he did was gut the shell and go. Went w/ flying colors. Here at Ramstein they look underneath the car when doing inspections so how you guys pass is beyond me. I should go where you are at. Hotrod has my back for this yr but next yr will be you guys.
