Thought I remember someone installed a cage thats on the site. I finally feel motivated to work on my car again.

I've had a Wolfe 6pt for some time now (about a year) and decided it was time to put it in. Everything fit togethor excellant, and Im real impressed with the quality.

Question is if anyone has put in a cage, what were the snags? The only thing i can see is the front brace bolts have to go thru the frame rail, and is really close to the where the subframes connect.

Thanks up front
Rob

Long time no hear!

A roll cage? Holy $hit man, what have you done to that thing? Just when I thought I was ready for your rematch... you have to cage it. :) Well back to the catalogs...

I was thinking about the 10 pt. Are your back seats still in?

I've only put the bars in, I havent bolted them down, but the rear seat stays out. Nobody would be able to get to it anyway. Mine has swing out on the side if I want to use them, but if you put a 10pt in a daily driver, I would think that would get old real fast. Would look cool though.

Hey Jeff, no worries. I'm only putting in the cage so I have a place to mount the video camera ;).

Hey what does the swing out bar look like? Got any pics? I am going to get either a 6 or 8 point bar too. I've seen pics of some that look like the side bars are removable. Just doing research. Later

Heh, your kidding right?

My hand was forced on the cage issue. There are some silly NHRA rules that keep pestering me.

Fbody97 I'll get some pictures up in a few, I got it mostly bolted in tonight, and just have to notch the plastic in the rear. I dont think you could ask for a better fit and finish than the Wolfe kit from what I've seen installing it.
