Your cam was done by Katech. Those are the guys that built the C5R viper killer.

I knew it was from them, but I just hope I don't break a spring or something.. Katech has recently said that they still feel that the 941 is a better spring than the 918, but that there was just a bad batch.. I hope mine weren't from that batch.

I hear ya. I got the bad batch but they stand behind there products. Actually they sent me another complete set of 941 and later 918 for free. Either way 941's only broke with my cam at 2000 RPM. I do have extras hope you dont need them though. I had the first cam from them with 581/588 lift.

Alot!!! let me reasure you though you will know if one breaks. You have titanium retainers with your kit to prevent the valve from droping. Meaning they stay locked on the valve. I did not have problems changing them 35 min in a rest platz.

But then, you need to do that almost once a week, don't you?

He said "not quite" - so once a week was indeed pretty close ... LOL

I see next year coming with Hawk exchanging springs in between every each run on the track...
well by then he will have more routine and only need 20 minutes, so plenty time while lining up...

Maybe Bruce can even invent something that will allow him to just drop the spring in without having to mess around too much ... 2min valve spring exchange ...

They need to come out with a hydra rev kit for the LS1.. That would help a bit.

OK so I had some minor problems but. I was able to make all Bitburg races run 11's all weekend and a 4-5 hr drive each way to get there.
