Yes ... but you didn't drive a 30000+ DM car ... plus modding it, you wouldn't have gotten much of that money back out again ...
It always depends what car you have, age, value, etc ... but definitely a car that new should have full coverage ... IMHO ...
I do understand that depending on your SF-class it can be costly ... guess you just have to weigh the pros and cons ...

hm, Garry, they were paying less than 50% of the value because I was not supposed to be on the road, as you said right it was modded.
Took the money to cash a new car, only enough for a Toyota. Golf for
20k came without second (right side) mirror, and I wanted two mirrors.

Hi folks,
just to close the accident chapter: My Camaro looks fine again. No one could tell the difference.

For insurance I am actually rethinking me strategy, as my daily driver has fully comprehensive insurance cover (Vollkasko), but because its 5 years old and had two accidents (it was not my fault!!) I would not get much money for it in case I would wreck it.
On the other side this car is much more needed because of its practicality (just look at the wheather now!!) and its economy.
I will definetely leave the Vollkasko on my daily driver until the winter has gone!!

Cheers!
Gunnar
