If its GM amd under warranty, The Opel Haus in your area that sells Gm products, will more than likely take care of you.

Depends on where you are... and if it's on warranty... but if you're close to Spangdahlem and it's not on warranty then I know a person over there if he is willing and not over tasked already on his car... my A4 went south while racing over there and he rebuilt mine and it works great.. I recomend rebuilding it with a shift kit since you will already have it apart! Have fun!

Well this is just something I need to be prepared for. I just want to make sure I can find someone to fix my tranny if need be. I looked at that Transmission Center website and they did not have a LS1 specific tranny?

Repairing on the economy can be more costly than out right buying one from the states and shipping it over here. best prevention is a temp guage and at least a 16,000 GVW tranny cooler. Any temp over 250 is shortens the life odf the tranny. 300 is certain death.

Other than the bellhousing and torque converter, what is the difference between an LT1 and a LS1? This place should at least have the parts you need to rebuild it. If you aren't sure, call them. They are very friendly and helpful. They let me know to save my $ and not get a shift kit but other parts that will work better. Good luck.

The transmission center has a 4L80e "quadzilla" that can be had with a LS1 bellhousing. That tranny is good for 900hp. It'll cost ya about $3k though.

Please stay away from http://www.transmissioncenter.net/. They have been known to rip off quite a few people on the impalassforum.com and camaroz28.com.

We use http://www.netgearhead.com. Contact Corey Turner at corey@netgearhead.com

They ship to Germany through BAX Global. Last one was $275, so it's not TOO unreasonable.

They have a great choice, good product and good price. So far there hasn't been any complaints.

Hope this helps,
Mav
