Does anybody know where I can get Dexcool coolant? Stores, online shops...?

I remember buying it at the Aafes parts store in Mannheim a few years back. If they don't have it in stock, they'll have to get it. If they give you a hard time, remind them that when they do work on certain cars, they have to use this coolant or else the warranty is void. I know that this might sound like common sense to you, but I have had nothing but problems with them. I only get parts from them if it's considerably cheaper. I can go on and on about the horror stories about that place, not just from my nightmares, but from many of my other soldiers. Either way, good luck.

I don't think I can buy at AAFES stores...? But it came to my mind that I could just try it at an GM dealer. They have to have it anyway.

Roy: Oh, that's a lot...
Garry: I think what you mean is DEX-RON (transmission fluid).

I'm not sure if it is the same but the auto pride(aafes) carries Prestone antifreeze and it has on the label "DEXCOOl Approved". If it'll work it's only $7.50 a gallon.

How long is Dexcool supposed to last?
I had lots of temperature problems in summer last year and replaced the complete radiator fluid (with normal stuff) and the problems went away.

The manual says to replace it every 5 years or 240000 km.
