I am looking for someone who is interested in helping me install all of the after market toys I purchased for my 2001 WS6. :idea:

I recently had knee surgery (again, ACL reconstruction) am I am very limited in mobility. :evil:

Of course I can accomidate you with a little extra $ or beer and food.

I only recently learned how to change the oil. Everything else, I have ZERO knowlege on how to do. I simply own the car. This is why I need some help. I am willing to learn, but right now I know nothing. Also, I had my knee surgery, so I cannot move all that much.

Don't take Bruce too seriously ... you got a pretty good list of goodies there - I'd like to see Bruce putting them all in in a weekend :twisted:

He probally can do it all in a weekend. Remember when his car "blew up"? Seems like the next week it was running again. I'll bet that he has TWO Leathermans and that's how he rebuilt his car so quick. :lol:

Besides the headers, nothing's really labor intensive (they arent that bad either) I doubt the headers are gonna mate up with that Borla with out some cutting however.

A weekend sounds about right.

Actually, the Borla Cat Back system is already on.... and I was told by LG MotorSports and Thunder Racing that the FLP Long Tube Headers would fit with the Borla system. I am thinking about having an Opel Dealership do the headers. Everything else I think can be done in a local Garage with some help from someone of course. If anyone is interested in a little $$$ and has a little time... let me know.

Headers are not that bad. Don't pay someone to put them on.. You sure have an extensive list of parts, don't ya.. Did you order it all at once?? :O Sounds like a lot of fun.. I might be game as well..

Hrrmmm, I must have differant FLP's. My Borla and Flowmaster catback were identical in length, and I had to lose atleast 3ft of the I pipe. If they fit thats a big BONUS, but paying OPEL to install them would probably cost more than they are worth.

Cool selection of parts. I'm sure 'ol Lou can race the LG Vette 2 or 3 more races thanx to you.

Yes, I purchased all of this at once. It was a little over $7000 with shipping. I have some of the parts and I am waiting for the rest. It should arrive in the next week or two. As far as the cutting of the pipe goes,,, I thought that would have to be done anyways.

The caps are all Red in color. They are the MBA caps from THunder Racing, but if you go to MBA homepage they sell it for the same price, and there are photos there (the photos are chrome) I am assuming they are high polished in Red. Everything I got will be Red. I bought Red Fuel Rail covers and a crap load of Red Loom to put around the wiring. I recently found the Battery Cover and Dip Stick in Red as well, so I may have to get those too.

I dont know if they are polished, or else.....all I know is the MBA is the only place I found Engine accessories (dress up) for the LS1. Maybe someone else sells it too, but I have not found anywhere else that does.

I am getting ready to have the Kenny Brown Subframe connectors welded on my car. Has anyone had any problems with the carpet or anything on the inside burning during the welding? Also, When I have the Lower control arm brackets welded on, which setting should I put the arms on? There are three wholes on the brackets. The top one, middle one or the bottom one?

Concerning the subframe connectors I had no problems during the welding with the carpet or the inside of the car getting too hot. However it can't be a mistake to keep a bottle of water near the car... just in case...

Don't forget to put some zinc spray or similar on the weld spots!
