Sure a European could buy it ... only question is whether TÜV would pass it during inspection  Would probably take some convincing in Germany at least ... I recon other countries like Denmark or Sweden or the likes are easier, though ...

If I only had the $$$. :( If you REALLY need to sell it quick, I got $1k. And we could trade.
Seriously, I hope that you can keep the car.
If you can't, remember, I offered you $1k first!!!

Your best bet would be to sell it through auto trader in Holland. Very lax regs

Are you serious? After all you have just paid to have done to it??? I could maybe understand if you had some serious financial issues, or you just wanted to get some European to buy it for the price of a new Corvette.. In my opinion you have done way too much to part with it so soon.. If you ever want to part it out, I would be interested in quite a few parts.

Here is the trick: A german could buy it, but register it in some other European country first for one year and then re-import it.
That way he would pay customs and import tax at that country's rate
(which you have to figure out at which country it is the lowest) and also with the registration papers of another European country it would be less problem to register the car... would have to check again which would be the easiest. Best to pick the country both together come out the cheapest or the best.

It just is so much running around that nobody really wants to do it. And important: you would need a trustful person to hold the car for that year in that country. It has to be registered with license plates, but it may be garage kept and never driven. Theoretically possible.

I'll look after it. Not even sure you have to pay import duty on a used car from the EU but if it's technically an American car, it's 10% import plus 17.5% VAT on top.

The United Kingdom is not a bad place to have an F-Body, however some of those country roads can be a bit tight and bumpy....

The best hassle free way is to have all of the parts TUV certified....and the mods annotated in a title book for the vehicle.

Of course, you may have to de mod a bit, but that really is not too much of a problem.......

H-man, I can't believe you are thinking of selling that car.........

I would speak cash with you, but I already have an LS-1 that I am very happy with.
