cold weather is not so bad, it's just that it is much harder on the machines, at least until the are fully warmed up...

I really like to get my stuff worked on in the winter because I can really find out what is wrong...

I got some Nitto from Splitting Imagez.com. Its a ricer board, but I found them to be the cheapest. The only problem, and this is why I'm not recommending them, is they took 2 weeks to decide if they wanted to ship to an APO!!!

Come on, 2 weeks! I could have made my own tires by then.

A local tire shop might have some Kuhmo tires for you. Wife got me some while I was in BNCOC for the same price as stateside, without the shipping. I know, not the best tire out there, or...
You could go through http://www.tirerack.com , I got my tires in 4 days. (No, that is not a typo) You just need to upgrade to Priority Mail. I have ordered MANY tires from them (damn throttle keeps sticking  ) without any problems and would recommend them to anybody.
WARNING!!! Do NOT go through AAFES unless you like throwing your $$$ away. If you do enjoy throwing $, throw it at me.

I loved the BFGs. The Kuhmos are cheap and good in the rain, but they suck in the cold. Too easy to spin the tires. Fun at times but it can get annoying after a while.

Less than 1 week from the TireRack...and they won't be the cheap but overpriced Coopers.

Craft if you need them that bad. I'll help you out. I've got to rims w/ tires sitting in my garage. They're 17's but you'll pass and that's all that matters.

I'm TDY but that's not a problem. My wife is there and can give them to you. You just have to come and get them after hrs like around 7pm because she is in a class in Sembach right now. I'll tell her about you coming so she'll answer the door (Wifey don't trust nobody) let alone answer the door. My only request is bring them back when you're done w/ your inspection and don't do any burnouts in them. :D

We've never met but you're a member here and we're here to help each other out. Once I here back from you I'll give you my hm # so you can coordinate a time to pick them up. I'm only 15 away from the Base and it's basically a straight shot to where I live.

I'd let you borrow mine, but I seem to have lost the key to the locking lug nuts I have.

Thats cool everybody!! Appreciate all the offers to help... I went home last night and gave Tire Rack a call and ordered some tires. They gauranteed I'd have them by weeks end, so hopefully all goes well!! I'll keep you up-to-date...

Once I get them, I'll need to find a place to have them put on... Any reputable places around??

Also, just getting here, I haven't been exposed to everything yet... Are there any weekend hotspots??
