bottom line they are good springs they just reccomend you change them because most people to include me wind it up. TSP also said 20,000 on the duals so I guess that is them looking out for us. you could use the ASA cam it has a nasty idle with 525 lift. It just is all bark and no bite though.

Val, changing springs every 20,000 miles is really not that big of a deal. Sure, it would be nice to have some that last a lifetime, but racing constantly and not worrying about springs is nice!

I know I'm asking for something I can't have. The problem is with mine if I do put a cam in it is just a pain for spring change every year. I'll have to drop the passenger side front suspension to get the STB off then the fuel rail covers. OK so I'm whining here!!! I'm sure after I've done it a couple of times it'll be a quick job. Hey how big of a cam could I go with, without having to check the piston to valve clearence. I figure if I'm going to have to change the springs every year I should just go big now!!

the cam I am selling is about as big as you can go without worry. My forged diamond pistons have valve releifs so I can go bigger. More duration this is what I have in it now and it screams 114 idles decent, 581 int lift 588 exh lift 224 int duration/228 exh duration ground on XE-R lobes. people are making 400+ Hapees with this stick and stock heads currently in straight up likes RPM when I had it 114+2 it had more power. Springs are a 3 hour job with a six pack. If you get down here i will prove it.

Nope I didn't make the list. I'm ok with it as I have a couple more to go & retirement sets in. They haven't officially said what units are staying but it's coming trust me. Now my decision will come down to coilover springs or upper & lower front arms. You know me. love the auto-X and road racing. Unless I can find a better set of coilovers I'll probably go with the LG coilovers.....not sure yet.

You won't find a better set, I guarantee you!
BTW, I heard this morning that the 3rd ID might try to come back to Iraq earlier than planned...
