I am thinking about upgrading again. I am contemplating a Supercharger, or Twin Turbo. I was wondering who has knowledge or experience with the V-9 Vortech Supercharger or ATI Supercharger. Which is the overall better deal? Also, which is the overall better deal between a Supercharger and a Twin Turbo System? What are the pros and cons?

the procarger for the f-body in my opinion is the way to go. The ATI intercooled supercharger is just as good if not better then any turbo setup for the f-body. Its cheaper and less of a hassel to install then a turbo.

You're gonna need more than a rear girdle with that kind of power, so I'd highly advise an upgrade to a new rear first! I would also get into the motor and upgrade there as well. You obviously have deep pockets, so beef it up first!

TT kit is only gonna cost you 7K at least. Hope you plan on rebuilding the bottom end before doin it. The internals won't last too long even w/ mild boost.

Oh, I envy you - having so much money to spend on the car!
So how much to consider?
About 2200USD for a Moser rear end, 4000USD for a Lunati piston/rod/crankshaft kit (I would not go without, also for reducing the compression ratio), 5000USD for the supercharger, some new valves and camshaft and torque converter or clutch probably and all labor cost... wow that is the price of a new small family hatchback!

North of Kaiserslautern about 1 hr from us. Can't believe you haven't made your way out there yet. Are there any other fbodies in your area that have come to Bitburg? Got to make it out to at least one event to see what you have been missing.

Don't worry, I won't be racing, either! I've broken way too much stuff, and will be keeping my car in one piece until I leave next year. The most important thing is just being able to hang out....

Exactly what Jack said. Besides we haven't met you. How you call yourself a member and not show your face?

Well I'm biased, so I wont recommend one over the other. I will tell you that the F body crowd isnt pleased with ATI's lack of support over belt slippage. If you ever want to run over 8psi then you will have to find a way around the average tensioner and the 6 rib belt.
Air to air, and air to water have been beat up pretty bad, but go ahead and place you hand on the stove, then blow on it. Did it feel better? Now go ahead and run it under cold water. How about now? The biggest benefit besides my over dramatic demonstration is that with water you can cool the air charge below ambient (much below) with air to air you can never achieve that.
BTW even though the Fbodies are always behind the Blue Ovals as far as FI products, there is a pretty trick methanol system out for the Fords for about 400bux, it wouldnt take much to fab it over. Or if you did go Vortech it wouldnt cost much to get a 3 gallon fuel cell/pump/more heater hose to make a very effective cooler. (thats my plan anyway. I've seen it and it works very well).
Whatever you do, go into it with your eyes open. Buying the kit is about half of the total cost. If you are doing it for oohs, and ahhs buy a underbody neon kit. Forced induction of any kind (nitrous too) will eat up the dollars quick.

I don't remember anywhere reading that in order to be a member one has to make public appearences. I go out, usually places where the young hot single ladies hang out. Are any of those at the track?
