Getting ready to bring the car over finaly. I have a procharger and moser 12 bolt but the weakest link now is the tranny. I was wondering if the tranny was to go out is there a place that I could take it to? Anybody done this before? I could also do it myself but I am not sure on how much it would cost to ship the tranny from the states. Thanks

There are GM dealers, but they charge a fortune! I don't know how mechanically inclined you are, but most of the guys like to do their own stuff these days! Too many times getting screwed.

I meant 4L60E.
Yeah I figure I can do it myself but I just wonder how much it would be to ship a tranny over here? I am stationed in Belgium at the moment.

Geiger in/near Munchen charged a friend 5,000 Eur to rebuild the one in his Suburban. It was a mostly stock rebuild at that.

Here are some pics of the car.

There are a couple of things different now though. Intake is gone for one because the charger took over all that. I also have halo lights on there now.
I am just thining about getting my tranny built before shipping just to so I dont have to worry about it. I would rather just go until my tranny is completely gone before having to replace it.

Spade:
I read good things about this shop. Their rebuild prices start at 450 Euro.
