On 31 July: Axel is planning to bring the El Camino, Rick will race the
79 Camaro, Dennis will run the Nova a last time before Hockenheim.
If I could drive 2 cars I'd take another Chevy to Bitburg, but...
I better take the Terrano and the trailer.
We thought since most of you are gone to Munich, we got to have a balance to the beetles

I will be there. By then, I should be lowered and aligned. Hopefully, the c-clip eliminator kit I got won't be too hard to put in. Whenever the directions say "cut" or "grind", bad things tend to happen. Is there somewhere around Bitburg I could get some drag radials? I would love to see what kind of a diffrence they would make. I could mount them on my OEM 16" rims. All the forums I go to about drag racing say I should be in the low 13's, even high 12's with the dyno numbers I have. 14.1 is not very cool. (Can't be the driver, can it? )

Goalie, those c-clip elims aren't made from Moser are they . If they are there only good for the drag strip. They won't take the lateral loads of daily street driven due to the size and design of the bearing.

...and my Boss said today he will be bringing his year 39 'tweety' and stay all weekend... since he don't feel like driving all the way to Munich.

Oh, sh!t. I guess I will hve to buy new shafts after all. Thanks for the heads up. It would be embarrassing to have a wheel fall of at the 'Ring. When I bought them, I didn't realize they would take the place of the wheel bearing. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, I guess.
