Car took a dump on me last friday. Turns out its the fuel pump. Time to upgrade. Not sure if I will go with just the pump or a full racetronix pump and harness. Anyone got advise. I want to do it once so it needs to be able to support into the 600hp range.

If something is down, and you have to replace it, you might as well upgrade it. That is my theory! ;)

Get the racetronix kit Dave. Plug and play is better than splicin and dicin. That's what I have and took all of 10 mins to install after the tank was dropped.

Question is, how long did it take to drop the tank?

2 hrs to drop everything since my setup is easy but that tank was 3 hrs in itself and screwed the filler neck up in the process.... Others are lucky and it takes no time to drop the tank.

Turns out I was running lean. Good thing it took a fairly inexpensive part instead of my engine.

This is why I am not doing it myself. The tank is full too. I ended up buying just the pump (walbro w340) from Cmotorsports. They tell me it is a direct replacement.

Let us know how that direct replacement goes. :D They are never that unless it's a Racetronix unit. Trust me I KNOW. I've had them all.

You make my point above. I'll ask the mechanic doing it how hard it was after its done.
