You know how in the states you could have this done? Well is there one here by chance? Still chasing the gremlin and want to rule out all possibilities. My wires are fine to the sending unit so either the unit is bad which would suck since it's basically brand new w/ less than 5K on it or it something more serious.

Just in case you ask. Right turns cause my pressure guage to drop close to 0 but then shoots right back up once I'm out of the turn. Normal psi at startup is around 58-60psi but then drops to 40 or so. It does climb when putting load on it but eventually the psi will slowly drop over time like say a ride to Bitburg and back.

You got a baffle in there? Might be a dumb question seeing as you have about everything on that car.

Except fuzzy dice. What up with that?

No baffle. It's just a straight up oil pan. Never had the problem before the engine went bye-bye but now I do. After the rebuild I didn't have a problem either but now I do. I'm still looking around though. Thought it may have been the pickup tube but it's not....did the magnet trick. Won't really know for sure until I drop the pan and see what's up.

Don't have fuzzy dice but I've got Trump dice in there instead. :ok:

sounds like the oil pickup might be a tad too high in the pan.

What would cause the pickup tube to do that Roy? Like I said the 1st 1K mile on it it never did this but now it does?

I wouldn't know what would causeit .But if you say the electrics are 100% okay , its either that or your pump is loose or you have an improper oil level ,ie wrong dipstick . This could also happen with extremely high volume pumps where the oil cannot drain back fast enough to the pan and expose the pickup.

I.m just using deductive reasoning here, only does it when turning right and or accelerating . Those are classic signs of a high p/u or loose pump or low oil level.

I'm ruling out the pump. It's the same pump since day on of 2 rebuilds. Could also be the guage cluster itself. Low oil? I can run 6-7 qts and it does the same thing but not as dramatic. Pickup more than likely and not the dipstick since it's been the same one since 96.

Well Val I'm ordering my catch can system. At least I'll have the blow by situation under control. Check this out.
http://www.accmachtech.com/pcvcatchcans.htm

Now I just got to find a oil pressure guage I guess the mechanical and some type of t-fitting so I can still run the electric unit and compare the 2. Possibly could be just the cluster or that guage in particular and have the other may just be the ticket in identifying that.
