I really don't know what to do...
I've got stock 215/60/16 on 5 star 16x8 (camaro V6 2000)
I want to change my tires
245/50/16 or 255/50/16?
does 255 fit ?
what the size of the Z28 tires?

take 245/50/16. This is the size that the Z28 has.

my trouble is that the tires seller in France don't want to install 245/50/16 but 255/50/16 because of tire diameter and french laws
Z28 in europe has 245 ?

That's not really correct, but I don't know the laws in France.
the diameter of 245/50/16 1,96% smaller than your stock size and the one from 255/50/16 only 0,46%. In Germany we can go till max. 4% difference. If you can prove him that the Camaros are coming with stock 245/50/16 I think there won't be any problems. Just try to find someone in France with this tire size and ask for a copy of his registration document or smth. I could send you one too if that helps... I have an European Edition too.
255 will fit too, but they are more expensive and at least in Germany very hard to find...

4% ?
in france it's 1.5% , but if Z28 have 245, the car have a homologation with it...
I'll buy 245 and take only the rims without the car to install them
thank you!
