So is he a little roughed up yet? You kept your cool the whole time. I would have chocked the little f@#ker. Did you find a replacement yet? You might post on the board for one. you never know, some one may have one hiding in the corner of the garage.

Sounds like dood owes you a new set of tires along w/ that the t-top. Rule #1. No one drives the car w/ one exception. They help turn wrenches on the thing. IF not FU.

Don't know. It appeared to be latched. I think that Jeff is still trying to figure that one out.

If your not real familiar with T-tops and the way they latch it could happen very easily. Latched and locked is the only way to go. I rember one of the First Fbody cruises , somebody's t-top flew off going down the road.
SS Sorry for your loss.

I remember that! It was Ray's blue Z28, which now has SS badges. It had marks all down the one side where the glass hit it.

Man why we have to go there? LOL! I just drove the car I had nothing to do w/ teh T-top flying off at 50mph. That sucked though and felt bad for Ray.

Hell, I remember that too! That was close to 4 years ago. Ray had to borrow someone's top that had a garage until his came in...
