is that price for already installed stuff? coz I can't start anything with smth like that, no equipment and not enough knowledge. It might be cheaper to let them do everything coz when you buy smth by yourself you still need to pay the install-money and that's not cheap at all!

continuation:

And do not forget:
- a moser
- a carbon drive shaft, no aluminium!, never ever alu on parts that becomes peak power
- big radiator
- big oilcooler
- throw out the oilpump in the ls1 (I still mean it is to risky)
- throw out the belt tensioner

- have a long talk with your tax office ´cause of the risen cubic nches. To **** up TUEV is one, to **** with the state will give you a lession in the long arm of justice

AND:
- Take parts that look stock.
- A good friend by DEKRA, stay away of TUEV
- at least: sum up the price of the sayed parts ... worth it? You can buy a second loaded ´maro for less in the states, ship it and try to succed in the "einzelabnahme": Yes, that is all stock, yes, yes .... when failed, you have a trailer queen for races ....

I estimated only the prizes! I think roth have his fee, he is the only I found till now who I think is trustable. Install cost would be killer. Thats why I also think about a second loaded ´maro or an ol´Lotus Espirt V8 for racing and use the Z as cruiser (what she already is).

Ah, and do not forget to stiffen the body and suspension. I let only Spohn-Parts on my car.

I am located in Stuttgart. I am often in Ulm. From time to time in munich .... the job defined my life.

Oilcooler ... I learned it the hard way .. this is a must and it cost nearly nothing ... I lost a BWM transmission because of overheating while streetracing .. long long ago while I am much much younger :(

Well, now you're talking about a transmission oil cooler, I thought you meant an engine oil cooler? That's right, if you have an automatic transmission an oil cooler is recommended. I have a manual. And I'm running without an engine oil cooler for over 3 years and 50000km so far... did some Nordschleife temperature tests last October which showed a peak temp of 105°C at 18°C outside, that's OK I guess...

lupo,
I would have to disagree with you on the Spohn-Parts only. If your talking about road racing you need to take a GOOD LOOK at LG Motorsports G-2 line up of parts as they where built for Road racing. If your talking soley Drag racing then that is a different story. If your looking for another F-body with all the goodies already on it you know it's going to cost you some $$$$ How much you looking to spend and what kind of goodies??

Yes, you are right with spohn-only

I don´t do the torque arm while I am not know what mounting point will be better, and I have to wait what type of arm I need when I have the mac headers. I like the spohn parts because of the spherical rod ends and the mix from PU and rod ends or else. Also the SFCs from Spohn have the smallest "space profile" AFAIK. I dislike PU because we used it in our machines and it sucks ... in cars this must suck heavily so I can not understand it to use PU in a suspension.

My list is not fully complete. For example I will let the front a-arms absolut original.

LG is on my list for the sway bars, or the 1LEs .. but this I will do as very last. I like it to feel when the Z begins to slide away and a harder sway bar take this warningpoint to high ... all IMHO.

Loaded ´maro: I like the LT1s. This combined with a big block and manual transmission. Can´t estimate a price. But 20k would it worth for me without a discussion when it is a car in good condition and in red.

Greetings
lupo
