Well, I finally figured out what the new 911 looks like, and I must say- I LOVE IT! I just realized yesterday that they went back to the round headlights. The new one looks so badass. I think I might have to start saving up for one. :) Just thought I'd post my excitement. :D

Yeah she's purty. Can't wait to see the GT2 in that oh wait I already have and the GT3. Dat chit is SICK! Still saving up for my 964 or 993 TT. 5 yrs or less I'll have it unless I change my mind and shoot for a GT2 996. I still think that one will be out of my price range even 5 yrs from now used. LOL! :D

Now a C4S 996 I can afford oh that is a lovely piece of machinery right there turbo or not.

I agree, and it would be cheaper for you to have a turbo put on. That's what my cousin did, and now he has a 400+ HP 993 lookalike beast!

How much did you have to do with that?

Of course, apart from the 911 series, I wouldn't mind driving a GT either ;)

Actually, quite a lot. There were 3 of us in the studio doing the complete exterior styling and I was one of them.

No kidding?! :)
Congrats.
I like it also way more than the previous one, the 996 head lights just didn´t look right.

The GT is a bit of a pig to get used to. It's got no flywheel and revs faster than a motorbike. That 6 inch composite clutch is also very digital, either on of off, no slipping. Together with the "no flywheel" it's quite difficult launching the car, first you stall it, then you try to give a bit of revs (which is instant redline) and leave in a cloud of smoke. With a bit of practice things get better, but it will never be a comfortable city driver.
Once you get going though, you are in another dynamic league. I have yet to drive another car where you can do 120 mph tail-out drifts and not worry about DEATH!

Need any help with the next one? Maybe you could incorporate a bow tie in there somewhere

That's aweseom Stef. I can't believe I actually sort of know one of the people who helped design it. It almost looks like a 993, only a bit more aerodynamic. Well done! ;)

I also like that 997 much more than the 996 (so congrats, Stef). If someone gave me one for free, I'd take it.

Personally, I think I'd go so far as to say that I'd buy one right now if it was $40K or under. ;)

Hm ... tempting thought ... ;)

Hey Stef, is the 997 what we are going to see you in next year?
