She was kind of shocked, but in a good way. I still think it's in my best interest to do what I had originally planned. It's funny how life throws us these curve balls, isn't it. :?

I know I only have 1 chance, but sometimes you have to do what you feel like you need to do, even if it doesn't seem like the easier option. :) I had a guy from HQ call me on Saturday to confirm it.

Bruce, have you thought about just buying the D&D T-65 for $1900??? What are your thoughts on it. I've been considering it but wanted to hear from you first.

Val, if you can get someone to do what Bruce does to his, for the same cost, it would definitely behoove you to do the same! ;)

Only problem is that I can't be without the car for more than a couple of days & if the cost of parts and labor are within a couple hundred dollars it would be easier to just buy a new one and rebuild this one later for my 73 Firebird. If I'm going to have it done I want to make sure that EVERYTHING is done all at once!!

That makes sense, but for $100 in parts, and $500 in labor, that is quite a substantial difference.

I don't think the $100 covers all the mods that are done to the tranny they offer. Bruce I need your input on this.

If that does cover all the Viper internals that he used, you'd be hard pressed to find a stronger, more durable tranny. For his to have lasted that long is phenomenal in my opinion.

Jack, I agree.

Bruce,
I looked for you at your work place on Weds but they said that you where in Graf. I looked for you over there too but you where not to be found. I forgot to bring your # with me to call. I'll be moving all next week. I'd like to linkl up with you sometime...are you going to be around where I can find you???(LOL) Who's the E-5 that just bought the T/A with the Firehawk decklid on it???? He says it's all stock and there is no rev limiter or speed limiter on it. He was talking about how he dusted a Porsche at 170mph.........

Broken sncro and a bent fork 5/6 R was all that was given me problems I already have the 1/2 3/4 viper forks with the carbon blockers back then they had nothing for the 5/6 part. it was cheaper than expected. Cal got 2 sets of 3:89 gears 1 set has 1000 miles on them they are the motive gears Daytona style could make you a good deal on them. They are being replace with a set of 4:30 Motive AX style. Val that is Riches old car he ran a 13.8 in Bitburg with it. I got moved to Ops Sgt in Graf. I will be there 1/2 days next week if you need help moving or anything let me know my cell is 01701237298. I can give you the poop on being a good SSGL.
