Braking was the hard part.
Bro,
You realize that is over 210 MPH, not saying that the LS1 is not capable, or you did not do it, but you are making some MAD power and some serious aerodynamics to match if tat is the case.
You sure you did not mean 5600s? That is more like it, since is about 180 MPH (give or take a few).

Kewl...let me get the same amount of money mods in my GTO and I'll take you up on your $25 bet...only on the Autobahn...100-150 run.

210? That was the engine temp. Bruce, Jeff, and myself were racing on the way back from the October Bitburg. Once the speedo went past 155, I could only glance at the tach. My computers rev limiter is set at 6800 so I was keeping an eye on it. LS1 and rev limiters = broken oil pump. Unless I am crosseyed, it was well past 6000 because I had to let off it. I just tell it how I see it. I know it was somewhere around 170 mph.

Val, that was myself, Bruce, and Jeff racing back from the October Bitburg. We all stayed pretty even unitl Jeff got pinned behind a slower car and then Bruce and myself were running side by side. Of course he was ailing from a slipping clutch. Then I let off because of the automatic / rev limiter problem. So I guess you could say Bruce came out on top. Then Bruce and Jeff went at it again and I think Bruce took that one also.

I'll like to try it a couple of times. Trying to figure out a balance in the suspension set-up.
Tokico 5 Way adjustable Struts (Drag) provide one setting for "agressive" street driving, the other 4 are DR/Street oriented.
Right now running Lakewood 90/10s and Drag Springs which made the car handle like a boat! It really sucks.
So, right now Im working a solution. Im swapping the front springs to V6 springs, that will bring the nose down a bit and help with aerodinamics but still handle like a boat.
Then the rears, running Drag springs as well and Lakewood 50/50s and an air bag.
I just want a sub-1.50s 60fts and Ill be happy. Then, Ill go back to the H&R Super Sports and Blistein shocks/struts combo w/some Avalon RC oriented tires and some serious help with the driver!
May be I let Roy take her for a ride and so he could show me how is done.
But to answer your Q, yes Ill try a few times.
Naz

COOL, look forward to seeing you over there. I'm set up for the twistie stuff but am going to try for mid to low 12s in the 1/4 this season. I won't change my set up except for tuning the computer.
