It sounds like a connecting rod. If I did not damage the block it should be back up in a couple weeks.

Where did you vanish to so quickly? :( Did you make it home under own power, or did you get a tow truck once you got back on the 'bahn?

Keeping fingers crossed nothing major happened ...

Good luck on the upcoming fix. Don't think he made it home on own motor after I towed him back. The Hawk reminds me of the Phoenix. Everytime he returns stronger.

I don't know about all that Nick. When you race like the Hawk, you're bound to break $hit. :)

I will be putting the Pro Mod rods in this one. :D So I will not have to worry about those baby rods again.

Bruce, how much longer until you actually have a ProMod in there with all the parts you're replacing?

Either way, good luck with the upgrade/fix ...

I was wondering why you haven't put some hood pins on it?

And why not that Nossle kit? That would help get as much NO2 as you want.

Just wondering

Man, that is true.

Hawk is heavily modified, and he runs it hard.

The only thing I have done to my LS-1 this year is change the oil, filter and had both yellow driving lamps replaced.

I spent the morning driving around backwoods of the Kisatchie National Forest around 100 MPH

She is running absolutely gloriously, with the dependability like that of a sewing machine.....

I must state that I am NO WHERE near Hawk's league.

I will just sit right in the back seat and shut my mouth, thank you.

Now, on two wheels, .......I am a God.....that's right, I am the Villian.
