The Wilwood kits usually come with E-compound pads, which is the pad I've been using for about a year now, it's great for Street/AutoX and the ring, but I'd be Hockenheim will be too much for them. Most of the guys on the Corvette forum swear by the H-compound for heavy track use, but it's not really a daily driver pad, so you'll need to change them out. They'll get you to and from the track just fine, but it'd be best to swap them out. A lot of guys use the Q-compound for street driving and Hs for track days. You should be able to get both in the 7416 shape and stock size rears (don't remember the #)

THe PB-10 is a new compound, it's suposed to perform close to the Es, but with less dust.

you can see all of the pad compounds here

Is that the right part number for a Superlite 6 Piston Caliper?

depends on the which SL-6 you've got. Most of the OEM replacement kits sold by Wilwood use the narrower SL-6 which takes a .65" thick pad 7416 shape (http://brakepads.wilwood.com/06-illustrations/pages/7420.html). The wider SL-6R uses a .80" thick, 7420 shape (http://brakepads.wilwood.com/06-illustrations/pages/7416.html).

Those are the right part #s for the 7420 shape, but if you've got the narrow SL-6s, they won't clear your rotors so you'll need the 7416 shape which is part # 15H-8546K & 15H-8546K

If you still have the box, you can match the part # up with this page to see which shape you need, check with the vendor or measure it.

So, is it snow-drifting in Hockenheim tomorrow? Will the track even be open? Who's coming?

Awesome track conditions if you had AWD. Got stuck three times in the parking lot. :(

The track had about 2 inches of snow on it. Closed ... Had about 40-60 hadr core people wanting to hit it . Just no clean track.

On a side note my exhaust on a throttle blip hits 126 decibel while idling it is 103.
Just slightly over the limit.
