Yeah, start all over again. Get it the '02 on the friday before, then you won't be able to run it too hard, cause of it being new and needing to be broken in. Then we can all show you OUR rearend. Good plan huh?

I do not think you know me very well then. I was all over the rev limiter and govener on the first day 18 miles on it. On the second day I beat up on some cars imports at a stoplight it was ugly and on the third day I was powershifting. Ok I was doing it before also but you get my point. We are dealing with smart cars here if you drive it lazy the computer adjusts to it and I would hate to teach my car any bad habits. FWIW I had the hacksaw out the first day trying to get more air.

He said more air. To think I was considdering buying that car. I think I have a better idea. Just need someone to back me up. Buy the way, does Tony got those parts yet? If not, might as well forget about it because I want a 383. I got a good price on a kit too.

Add the parts to it. You can make yours a 377 pretty easy put some HC slugs in there and you will be set.

No, the kit is a 383 or 396 rotating assymbly. So if I get my cylinders bored (probably, DM 700 in Trier), we are talking 385 or so. I was thinking of definitely running high compression slugs and maybe the nos too (still not sure). There is also a 396 kit which I am sure would require more clearancing work at the machine shop.
I know Tony is busy, but if I want to get this I need him to respond and tell me what parts I already ordered will work with this rebuild. I am about 85-90% sure i want to do this. If it can't be done at his shop, no problem. I know a guy here that has rebuilt A LOT of motors and is willing to help.

LOL, OK, I get your point. I picked mine up from B'haven, so mine was broken in by the time I got home. Then I was out that night putting in the FTRA, MAF and a few other things.
